Fireworks Display
The City Of Imboden’s Fireworks Display is held each year at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.
Parking is located around the Sloan-Hendrix campus, Bill McCurley Gymnasium, Imboden City Park and the I.T Hill Baseball Complex that will provides everyone with a great view of the fireworks display.
The show begins around dusk, come early for a good parking spot, bring some lawns chairs and enjoy the show.

Recreation
The Imboden City Park offers a track for walkers and runners to indulge in their favorite outdoor activity. A large outdoor playground and the presence of picnic tables with shelters also provide a restful spot for a quick break or picnic. Activities held nearby include events at the baseball field, sporting complex, Freedom in the Park, Lawrence County Fair, and Christmas Lights in the Park.Imboden Fishing Pond Located on Hwy 63 just south of Imboden, the fishing pond offers several covered pavilions with picnic tables and a newly completed handicap accessible fishing dock. Portable restroom is also provided on the property.
Spring River access at Imboden offers a boat ramp and parking. Spring River is a great place to fish for various species, including bass, perch, and catfish.

Welcome to the official website of Imboden, Arkansas. Our citizens enjoy quaint small town living in the foothills of the Ozark mountains. We are excited to provide a place for you to learn about our community. With its colorful historic past , growing business district, and beautiful overlook of the Spring River, Imboden is truly a place its residents are proud to call home.
The town was named for an early pioneer Benjamin Imboden who settled here around 1828. He was a descendant of a noble clan of Imbodens whose original homeplace were the mountains of Switzerland. The family was highly regarded for their active support of the Church, the schools, and their loyalty to government. Records show the town of Imboden was incorporated in April of 1889.
Located in Lawrence County Arkansas. 36 miles northwest of Jonesboro, Arkansas and 96 miles northwest of Memphis, Tennesee.
The Sloan-Hendrix school district in Imboden delivers quality education for grades K through 12 grade and has been in operation since 1899. Imboden is within a half hour drive to two area colleges. The Bobbie Jean Memorial Library, a branch of the Lawrence County Library is located in Imboden and offers a wide selection of books, periodicals, and media materials to be checked out by patrons.
There are 684 residents in the town of Imboden. Natural resources including forestland, abundant wildlife, water resources and unique natural areas that contribute to the rural quality of life.
Imboden residents can enjoy the city park, walking park, fishing pond, or boat launch on Spring River for a day on the water.
Imboden is the home of the annual Lawrence County Fair and PRCA Rodeo held in mid August of each year.
